The RSMP290M is a twistable, extensible 17.5 mm mini-prism made with a rugged plastic housing system that can be attached to iron or steel via powerful magnets within the case

When using the mini-prism RSMP290M, the prism can always be aligned precisely with the measuring instrument. The 17.5 mm prism can be turned in a radius of 360º so the same survey point can be measured from different directions. Bridges, rail lines, buildings and other structures can be measured more quickly and precisely. While this prism can be attached to iron or steel structures with its magnetic system, mounting adhesive enables quick and simple installation even on difficult surfaces while provided holes enable attachment with dowels or screws.

Reflector-less measurement ranges of 400 m and more are possible when using the RSMP290M mini-prism and when sighting known measuring points with robotic total stations, it is possible to achieve ranges of up to 1000 m.
