Kara Company, Inc. owns and operates ReIL-NET, Illinois' largest and most complete CORS RTK Network.

ReIL-NET operates using Spider reference station software provided by Leica Geosystems. This software simultaneously measures, records and computes a Geodetic Network Solution correction. An internet connection to our server at Kara Company allows roving GPS units to resolve their atonomous, ambiguous measurements in real time. Our GNSS reference stations provide differential corrections to most brands of modern RTK GPS units. 

We currently support 47 base stations across Chicagoland and Central Illinois, and are routinely working to expand and densify our coverage throughout the state.
