K & E Tilting Level w/ Optical Micrometer Graduated in Inches (713012)
K & E Tilting Level Description:
The tilting level is a precision instrument designed for optical tooling and alignment applications.
It can be used to establish a place in spce that is level (horizontal) to within 1 arc second.
When the instrument is used with an optical micrometer and optical tooling scale, displacements from the horizontal plane can be determined at distances up to 100' to an accuracy of thousandths of an inch.
All types of machinery and equipment, such as bed plates, turbine foundations, and paper machine be plates, can be leveled with ease to accuracies difficult if not impossible to achieve with conventional mechanical methods.
