Ready to get your Indiana PLS license?

Posted by

Do you want to get licensed in Indiana but still need another surveying course? Parkland College has a convenient solution for you! Make just three weekend visits to Parkland's Campus in Champaign, perform your assignments online, and you’ll earn the basic engineering credits accepted by Indiana.

This fall, we'll launch a new course: SRV 239 - Land Development Design. This class will include road design as well as drainage area analysis and storm, sanitary, and waterline networks. By the end of the course, you will successfully complete a small subdivision design and plan set that includes a plat, site plan, utility pages, and details. Parkland College is working closely with the Indiana Board of Registration to make sure this class satisfies Indiana licensing requirements.

The convenient format of SRV 239 combines online instruction with only a few visits to the Parkland College campus. That means you’ll do most of the work online, at home, on your own time. Then once per month, you’ll attend weekend lab sessions at Parkland's Campus. We will provide the software you need. Familiarity with software like Civil3D is a plus, but not necessary.

If you have any questions or would like to register, please email me to get started. The class will begin in late August so please enroll early to make sure you get a spot.
